Stress

Excessive stress can have many symptoms including insomnia, inability to relax, over-eating, excessive drinking, quick to anger and loss of sex drive.  The Health and Safety Executives definition of work related stress is:

‘The adverse reaction people have to excessive pressures or other types of demand placed on them at work.’

Really stress is the physiological and biological way our body responds to a perceived threat and if your body is in constantly in a state of heightened stress it can impact your pysical and mental health.

Depending on what contributes to or is causing you stress, we will work with you to help you resolve and reduce it.  As you have read, a lot of areas we treat can be an overall symptom of stress.
