Fears & Phobia Fight-back

Phobias can be created by our sub-conscious as a result of an experience (often forgotten) or learning a behaviour from someone else’s reaction. For example, if you grew up with a parent who had a phobia of dogs you may in turn ‘learn’ that dogs are to be feared and have a phobia too.

A phobia is defined as ‘An extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something’.

Some symptoms include:

  • trembling
  • sweating
  • feeling sick / nausea
  • headaches
  • increased heart rate
  • heart palpitations
  • blushing

Whatever your phobia, let us help you to conquer it.  We treat many different phobias, not just fear of flying, social phobias, fear of clowns and spiders.  If  you have a phobia you want to conquer, we can help.

Your sessions will either be via Skype in the comfort of your own space, or in our relaxing therapy room at West Norwood Hypnotherapy.

Phobias are treated in 2 sessions.  We will have an initial consultation then, after which both of your sessions will be booked in.  To use Skype, you will need an account and a strong internet connection, but any questions and we are more than happy to help.

All I can say is amazing.
The therapist did this for my daughter’s fear of spiders and I sat in the mood was calming and to see her walk past a spider in the room with out screaming is great. Well Done
